The more matching symbols that appear, the higher the applicable payout can be according to the game's paytable. All paytable winnings are shown as a multiplier of your current stake.

Cascading Wins

When Cherry Blossom produces a winning combination, the winning symbols are paid and then removed from the screen. Any remaining symbols fall down into the empty spaces and new symbols enter from above.

If the new symbols create another winning combination, another win is paid and the process repeats. The cascading process is theoretically unlimited, so a single paid spin can potentially produce multiple consecutive winning combinations.

Between 8 and 99 players compete simultaneously in a real-time battle. Each player is playing their own independent slot game, while the results of winning spins generate Power that can be used in the multiplayer battle.

Everyone begins a battle with the same starting conditions: 1,000 Health and Level 0.

How Cherry Blossom Generates Power

When you land a winning combination in Cherry Blossom during Battle Mode, two things happen:

1. You receive the normal cash payout from the Cherry Blossom slot.
2. You receive a Power award for use in the 99Royale battle.

The amount of Power generated increases with the size of the slot win relative to your stake. Your 99Royale Level can also increase the amount of Power generated from future wins.

There is no fixed maximum amount of Power that an active player can accumulate. However, there is a maximum amount that can be used in a single attack, known as the clip size. Any Power above that amount remains available for another attack.

Attacking Other Players

Pressing the Power button attacks your currently selected opponent.

An attack does something particularly important in 99Royale: the Health removed from your opponent is also added to your own Health. Attacking is therefore both offensive and defensive.

If you have accumulated enough Power to eliminate your current target, the Power button indicates that a KO is available.

Health, KOs and Levels

Every player starts a 99Royale battle with 1,000 Health. Receiving attacks reduces Health, while successfully attacking another player increases it.

When a player's Health reaches zero, that player is knocked out of the battle. Any Cherry Blossom slot winnings already credited remain theirs, but any unused Power is lost.

All players begin at Level 0, with a maximum of Level 5.

Your first KO takes you to Level 1. Further KOs contribute towards progressing through the higher Levels. When you eliminate another player, their KO count is also added to your total KO count for levelling purposes.

This matters because higher Levels increase the amount of Power generated by your Cherry Blossom wins.

The tactical decisions in 99Royale happen separately from the random outcome of the Cherry Blossom slot. You can choose how the game selects the opponent or opponents who receive your attacks.

How Does the 99Royale Battle Prize Work?

The objective of a 99Royale battle is to survive longer than the other players. However, you do not necessarily have to be the last player standing to receive a Battle Prize.
