How Does Ra the King Work?

Ra the King uses 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 fixed paylines. Winning combinations pay from left to right on adjacent reels, beginning on the leftmost reel.

During Free Spins, regular symbol wins are paid first. The selected special symbol then expands to cover every position on any reel where it appears.

Unlike normal payline wins, the special expanding symbol pays according to the paytable even when it appears on non-adjacent reels.

Landing 3 or more Book symbols during the feature retriggers another 8 Free Spins. Immediately after a retrigger, an additional regular non-Book symbol is randomly selected to become another special expanding symbol. This means multiple different symbols can become expanding symbols as the feature progresses.

A battle contains between 8 and 99 players. Every player plays an independent instance of Ra the King while the battle runs simultaneously in real time. All players begin with 1000 Health and at Level 0.

How Ra the King Generates Power

Power is generated through wins on the Ra the King slot. You receive the normal cash payout for a winning spin as well as a Power award for use in the battle.

The amount of Power generated increases with the size of the slot win relative to your stake. Higher player Levels also increase the amount of Power generated from wins.

Unused Power can be accumulated while you remain active in the battle. A maximum amount can be applied in a single attack — the game's clip size — with excess Power remaining available for later attacks.

Attacking Other Players

Press the Power button to attack your current target. When an attack is made, Power is consumed, Health is deducted from the targeted player and an equal amount of Health is added to your own total.

If you have enough Power to eliminate your current target, the Power button indicates that a KO is available.

Health, KOs and Levels

Every player starts a 99Royale battle with 1000 Health. Receiving attacks reduces Health, while successfully attacking another player increases your own Health. Reaching zero Health means elimination from the battle.

All players begin at Level 0, with a maximum of Level 5. Your first KO takes you to Level 1, and subsequent KOs contribute towards further level progression. Higher Levels increase the Power generated from Ra the King slot wins.
